Another 66 people in Northeastern Minnesota have tested positive for COVID-19, the Minnesota Department of Health reported Monday.

St. Louis County recorded 43 more people with COVID-19, its second-highest daily count. Six additional cases were reported in Carlton and Koochiching counties, five in Itasca County, four in Lake County and two in Aitkin County.

According to St. Louis County, there are 325 active cases of COVID-19 in the county with a median age of 29, the lowest since the county started reporting the median age early last month.

Eight people with COVID-19 in the county are hospitalized, up one from Friday. One person remains in an intensive care unit Monday.

Statewide, Minnesota reported 937 more people with COVID-19. Another 16,938 diagnostic cases have been completed.
