Two more St. Louis County residents have died from COVID-19.
The two individuals were both between ages 95 and 99, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. Those deaths were among 10 recorded across the state Tuesday.
That brings the total number of deaths that have occurred in St. Louis County since the start of the pandemic to 36.
On Tuesday, St. Louis County reported that 14 people were hospitalized in St. Louis County with COVID-19. That's a six-person jump from the day before. None of those 14 patients were in an intensive care unit.
Nineteen more people tested positive for COVID-19, according to the state's Tuesday update. Since Sunday, the county has recorded 97 new cases.
Of the 1,421 St. Louis County residents who have tested positive since the pandemic began, the county estimates 293 of them are currently requiring isolation.
Itasca County recorded nine more people with COVID-19 on Tuesday and Aiktin County recorded three.
Statewide, Minnesota reported 513 more people with COVID-19 and the completion of another 9,415 diagnostic tests.
