Duluth police took a man into custody after a gun was fired on Interstate 35 in Duluth on Sunday night.
No injuries were reported, police spokesperson Ingrid Hornibrook said in an email to the News Tribune. Authorities did not immediately provide details on the circumstances surrounding the incident, which was still under investigation, or on the man in custody. Hornibrook said more information would be released Monday morning.
It was the second shots-fired incident investigated in the city Sunday. At around 2:30 a.m., police found 17 bullet casings and a damaged sign near the alley in the east 100 block between First and Second streets after hearing shots fired. No one was injured and no suspects were found in that case.
